As our country starts to take steps towards a ‘new normal’  we thought it was worthwhile giving our valued customers an update on how we are emerging from lockdown.

Having operated throughout all stages of the pandemic, initially only with one-man deliveries, we are now happy to say that we are operating again at full capacity with two-men deliveries. In order to safeguard our staff and customers in these unchartered waters we have embraced enhanced safety precautions throughout, in accordance with government guidelines, and we will continue to instigate these moving forward, even if there is a little more wiggle room! Our safety measures include: hand sanitation units throughout our premises; gel santisers in every van; disinfection of vans with Ramsol disinfectant spray every day; the daily supply of masks, visors and disposable gloves for all staff; pod working of staff members; enhanced cleaning practices throughout our offices and warehouses; daily staff temperature checks; constant cycle of ventilation in our offices, warehouses and vans;  display of Covid-19 prevention advice in line with the ever-evolving advice offered by local and national government and the WHO;  monitoring of staff travel against the approved list of destinations; staff training on the guidelines to keep themselves and customers safe;  and, without a doubt, the continual monitoring of and adherence to government guidelines and advice as and when they release.

All of above is detailed in our Covid-19 Risk Assessment which is a work in progress and which guides all of our judgements on staff and customer safety.

The only step remaining to be taken is the ingress of customer’s homes. This step will be taken as and when it is safe to do so for both staff and customers, and in line with current government guidelines.

We hope that all of the above gives you some reassurance on the measures we have in place, but should you need any more information with regards our policies in relation to Covid-19 or any other aspect of our operation, please do not hesitate to get in touch with us.

We wish you all well as you venture out into the ‘new normal.’
